Jennifer Cross

Jennifer is the Development Lead at Launch Alaska, supporting fundraising initiatives, cultivating donor relationships, and assisting the CEO in securing financial support for current and future programs and initiatives. She brings 14 years of executive experience in the non-profit sector and a background in Biology and Natural Resources Management. In her past roles as executive director, she implemented strategic initiatives to strengthen and advance mission while leading the organization towards financial and operational stability. Jennifer leverages her extensive fundraising experience along with her passion for wildlife and sustainable resource management to support the vision of equitable, resilient, and prosperous Alaska communities rich in economic opportunities, sustainable systems, and clean energy.

Jennifer is originally from Northern Ontario, Canada, where she attended Sault College and received an Associate’s degree in Integrated Resource Management. Jennifer also graduated from Lake Superior State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Fish and Wildlife Management. She moved to Sitka, Alaska in 2017 to take her passion for outdoor adventures to the next level. She now resides in Anchorage where she loves exploring Alaska through backcountry hiking, trail running, and boating with her husband and fur babies.
